Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been posting as much lately. I'm busy with another project on my hands that I like to call Heart Of Headbands. So, I've been making headbands over the past few months and I've gotten a lot of compliments, so I decided to make an Etsy shop. (Warning: Lame Advertising Ahead!) Please go to my shop and check it out. Even if you don't buy anything, spread the word or something to that effect. I don't expect to sell a lot, but please just check it out and tell me what you think! Thanks so much and a post will hopefully be coming soon! -Courtney P.S. My SAT was good, to those who asked. And watch this video for a laugh. "...but i was literally laughing out loud. And if you're doing that while talking to somebody on the internet...you have to tell them."

From My To-Do List To Your's
THE CHANGELING. I just saw it last night and I thought it was intense and just amazing. I have forgotten that Angelina is actually a good actress. I have yet to see Slumdog Millionaire, but you guys should probably watch that too.
THE WIKIPEDIA GAME. You can spend hours just clicking and clicking and clicking. I found these rules pretty self-explanatory. And hilarious. LISTEN TO:
JOSE GONZALES. I know some people don't like him, but I find his rendition of "Heartbeats" beautiful. Almost like a lullaby. Listen to it!READ:
THE GREAT GATSBY. What? You haven't read this? Shame on you! This is the only school-related book that I have actually liked. The plot line actually has a plot, unlike other books we have read in AP **cough As I Lay Dying cough**MAKE FUN OF:
THE SECRET LIFE OF THE AMERICAN TEENAGER. I know I may offend some of you, but really...this show is just a rip off of 7th Heaven. Mainly because the producer is the same one from 7th Heaven. Anyways, it's on tonight and I hope you enjoy the pointless storyline, cliche dialogue, and subliminal messaging as much as I do!

Oh No You Didn't...!
I pause from my diligent studies to bring you a bit of my fashion frustration:
This is my favorite Marchesa dress. I actually envisioned wearing it to prom, because I am creepy and I obsess. Anyways, I think it is beautiful.
Taylor...you ruined it for me. Not only did you chop off the embellished cap sleeves, but you wore it with heavy, over-done makeup, and messy hair, and bitchy attitude. Ugh...if I could pick anyone to wear this gown, it would not have been you, Taylor! Ughh...sorry about the rant there. Now, I must continue my mundane homework assignments. I hope Taylor Momsen doesn't ruin your day as well! -Courtney

Bought, Burned, Beloved
Bon jour! New series thing! I hope this one actually stays. Anyways, every now and then, I will post something I bought, something to be burned, and something I love. I hope you all like!
Mmkay, so once these Sigerson Morrison for Target flats came out this Spring, they disappeared off shelves and online. I have cyber-stalked their presence like a fourteen-year old stalks her crush on Facebook. Anyways, I bought them off eBay for $22! I love them so much! Even though it is Spring, these are a great addition to my wardrobe and the studs make me feel badass!
This is Diane con Furstenberg and I love it. That's simple enough. I would never wear it because I'm about 4 inches too short for a maxi dress, but this makes me want to run around a field and make a headband out of daisies, and strum my acoustic...

Spring Obsession: Catherine Holstein
I adore the color combination here. Mustard yellow and periwinkle-ish blue is unexpected, but it works.
I am loving neutrals for this spring! This trend is so easy to interpret and it personally reminds me of the British elite on a safari. Or something like that.
Now, this is Parisian. Black buttons on floral overlay makes me swoon.
I find this really pretty, even though I'm not sure if it's a romper or a dress...
I would love to interpret this into an outfit, but with my own little spin on it. For example, personally, I would wear a thinner belt around my natural waistline.

The Beat Of My Heart
Happy Valentine's Day readers! While many people will call this day "Singles Awareness Day" or its "just a day for lovers," that doesn't stop me from loving those around me. I awoke to a teddy bear and box of chocolates from my mom, then got ready to go out with friends. We wandered around the mall (I got grey skinny jeans from PacSun for $15 and lotion from Victoria's Secret) and had Chinese food. Then, I went to my best friend's house and we made these delish red velvet cake balls and watched The United States of Tara, which is my new favorite show. We finished the night off eating quesadillas and watching music videos. While this is nowhere near romantic, I say screw Prince Charming (haha...not in that way) and roses and every cliche romance kick, and just be with those you love because that is what Valentine's Day is truly about. I hope you all had a lovely day, no matter who you spent the day with, and Courtney loves you... (And yes, my title is a Hilary Duff song. What is with me and random title choices?)
